WomBall is taking place at Rough Close campsite in Coventry. The site address is:

By Car

The campsite is located just outside Coventry and can be accessed easily by car. There will be parking available on site for those choosing to travel this way. Members must be aware that the driveway to the site is only wide enough for 1 car in places and has a deep ditch next to one side at the start. Please be careful if driving down here. Once the driveway opens up and there is green space on either side you have reached the main car park. Please park at a right angle to the drive and fill as much of this space as possible. See the site map for a visual. If we have access to extra off-site parking we will share information about this as soon as possible. 

 

By Train

The nearest train station to the campsite is Tile Hill which is around a 30 minute walk away on footpaths the whole way (minus road crossings). Do not follow google maps for the walk. Instead, please see our route below which includes a section on a public footpath through a field, this is both safer and quicker. Written directions can be found below the map. You will be greeted by a member of WomBall staff at the station who can provide written directions, they'll also have a photo of the annotated map that you can take a picture of to use if you need.

Direct trains run to this station from a variety of locations including Birmingham New Street and London Euston.

The walk from the train station to the campsite will be signposted and there will be a walking bus at the end of the event to ensure everyone gets back safely.

If you are unable to complete a 30 minute walk then please contact us and we will make other arrangements for you.

 

 

• Exit Tile Hill station form platform 2 and turn left to join station avenue and walk to the end of the road.
• When you reach Duggins Lane turn left and walk along Duggins lane for approximately 10 minutes till you reach the public footpath entrance next to 'Kinorigo' (photo below). What3Words location: poem.exit.admire

• Enter the footpath by using the small kissing gate to the left of the main gate to the field. 
• Walk up the field (respectfully, remember the countryside code) along the left hand side, you will reach another identical gate about half way. What3Words location: ready.these.stews
• Continue to walk up the field and you'll see a final kissing gate at the top, What3Words location: stack.bulb.range . 
• Exit the field using the gate and you should walk across a wooden platform to reach the road, directly opposite you should see the Rough Close entrance signs.
• Cross the road sensibly and begin your walk down the Rough Close driveway, being aware of cars coming in either direction down the driveway. 
• Make your way to the main field (look out for signs) and enjoy WomBall!
