Accommodation

If you'd like to stay in Birmingham you have a couple of options!

  • Staying on Site

We can now offer camping on-site for Friday and Saturday night at a cost of £4 per person. The limits on the number of people in a tent have now been removed but we ask that you be sensible when you share tents and make sure everyone around you feels safe and comfortable. Make sure you bring all the things you will need for camping for the night, including a tent(!), sleeping bag etc.

When on-site you will have access to the toilets and showers as well as kitchen areas if you'd like to cook food. These kitchen areas provide a space for you to make a small fire (with free wood you find around the site) and cook on it. You will need to bring all food and equipment with you. Camp stoves can also be used in these areas.

You can arrive on site from 3pm on Friday (providing you paid for Friday camping!) and everyone must sign in when they first arrive. You must also register again at the start of the event (1pm Saturday) to collect your merch, WomBall wristband and tokens for thw BBQ. You will be responsible for yourselves outside of official WomBall times and must remain respectful of other site users, following the 11pm - 7am quiet times.  You must leave site on Sunday by 6pm at the latest.

It is strongly recommended that all members staying on site do a lateral flow test on Sunday morning. We will have tests for everyone to use. Please make use of this offer to help keep SSAGO safe. Anyone who tests positive, and those from their tent, should immediately follow government guidance for testing positive and being close contacts respectively published at the time.

Under current guidelines, members traveling from Wales cannot camp on site.

  • Staying off site

Some of you will want to sleep in a proper bed on Saturday night or even go home! We'll have a walking bus leaving site at 6pm for anyone going home via Tile Hill train station.

If you want to stay in Birmingham city center there is a huge variety of places to choose from, so many that it would take too long to list them all here! We recommend using a site like Tripadvisor to browse your options and see what is cheapest when you're booking.

If you'll be making your way home on Saturday night we wish you a safe trip!

If you experience any issues in the booking process, please contact webmaster@ssago.org.
