Drinks at The Hobbit – Starting 8pm
Join us for an evening of drinks at one of Southampton’s most popular pubs – The Hobbit. Try out their famous Hobbit pint cocktails and enjoy an evening catching up with everyone.
Some of you might fancy moving onto Jesters (‘the worst nightclub in the UK’) later on into the night. If so, don’t forget your ‘Jesters shoes’ (a cheap pair of shoes that you don’t mind potentially getting a bit mucky)!
New Forest Walk – Meet at Southampton Central Station - Southern Entrance at 10am.
Come along for a walk in the New Forest, led by Southampton SSAGO’s resident forest walkers, Oli and Alex. Meet at Southampton Central Train Station at 10am on the Southern Entrance. All you need to do is bring yourself in walking attire, your day bag and normal contents, your railcard and train money (about £5). You will be returned to Southampton by 3.30pm which should give you ample time to get ready.
Ball – Embark at 6.30 for sailing at 7pm.
Enjoy an evening sailing around the Solent while you are wined and dined. We have an excellent menu on offer as well as a bar, photographers and a DJ. We are also lucky to be joined by John May, Secretary General of Duke of Edinburgh Association and ex-Vice Chair of WOSM, who will be giving a short speech after the meal.
After Party – Popworld
Once we’re back on dry land head over to Popworld to dance away the night away at our after party. Entrance is free so just bring along your ID. Normal club entrance policies apply.
Breakfast at The Giddy Bridge, London Road from 10am
Pop over to The Giddy Bridge for Wetherspoon’s finest post ball breakfast.
