Take a look at the plan for the weekend to see activities that Southampton SSAGO will be running for you. If none of those take your fancy then why not have a look at these instead?

St Mary's StadiumSt Mary’s Stadium Tour

Home of the mighty Southampton FC!! Saints have a home game on the Saturday, but they may be offering pre-booked tours on the Sunday. £13 for an adult, located a short walk east of the city centre.   

Solent Sky Museum

A museum showcasing the history of aviation in the Southampton and Solent area, with a Spitfire! Open Friday and Saturday 10am-5pm, and Sunday 12pm-5pm. £6.50 for an adult, located on Albert Road South near Ocean Village. 

West QuayWest Quay

The South coast’s biggest shopping centre, housing plenty of affordable eateries in the food court (McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut, Subway, Nandos etc.) and over 100 shops including John Lewis, Apple, Superdry and M&S. Open from 9am-8pm on Friday, 9am-7pmon Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sunday – you can’t miss it in the city centre! 

Tudor House Museum

Southampton’s oldest building located in the heart of the Old Town showcasing the lives of its residents and the city throughout the years. Open from 10am-3pm on Friday, and 10am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday. £4.75 for an adult, £3.75 for a student. Located a short walk south of the city centre on the way to the docks and Ocean Village.

The CommonSouthampton Common 

326 acres of parkland and woodland with a fishing lake located a short walk up the Avenue northwards from the city centre. Perfect for geocaching!

Sprinkles!

Southampton’s famous ice cream parlour offering many different gelato flavours, waffles, crepes, sundaes and much more. Whilst you can choose to have breakfast here on Sunday, it is definitely an experience not to be missed. And it’s open from 7am to midnight every day! Located in the city centre on the corner of Above Bar Street and New Road, opposite KFC.  

WinchesterWinchester

If none of the above take your fancy, then Winchester is only about 20 minutes away on the train from Southampton Central. A lovely historic city with an impressive cathedral, good restaurants and interesting shops!
