The Happily Ever After Party
Unlike Cinderella our party doesn't stop at midnight!
Once the disco ends at Keele Hall, we'll all head over to the nearby Keele SU for our after party event. It'll be an exclusive affair - only open to Once Upon a Ball guests.
At K2 we'll pick up where we left off - with 3 hours of non-stop dance and disco anthems. Hosted by DJ Reuben, maestro of classic nights out such as "The last hour and half of the Silent Disco at Viking Rally", he'll be taking requests both before hand and on the night. With a focus on 90's to present hits, expect everything from The Vengaboys to The Weeknd, Busted to Panic! and Rihanna to Madonna.
There'll be bar staff serving drinks and fully licensed SIA door supervisors. Fancy taking things slower? The Bubble, our VIP lounge/chill-out area with mood lighting, is the place for you. Other features include a cloakroom, toilets and accessible private entrance. We'll also provide some snacks for when you start to get peckish.
And the best part? This is included FREE in your Ball ticket!

Professional Photography Studio
Missed out on Leavers' Prom or Graduation? Haven't had a good photo of yourself for a while? Fear not!
In a SSAGO Ball exclusive, Harrison Galgut, partner of our very own Secretary Larah, professional photographer and owner of Edit6 Photography, will be shooting our event. Larah and Harrison will be working together to capture the memories from the first Ball in three years.
We've focused on upping the quality of our Ball photography whilst also keeping it affordable for student members. For starters there will be a formal photograph on the lawn outside Keele Hall before the event - so please attend. On the night Larah will be our roaming photographer, taking the typical pictures you'd expect for Ball, which will all be available online afterwards for free.
However as a Ball bonus, Harrison will be manning a special photography studio. Here you can have your portraits, group photos, couples photos, anything you like! You'll be properly posed, framed and made to look like the royalty that you are. Prices for the studio will be £1 per person per photograph, which as anybody that has had their graduation photo taken will know, is a very good price! Photos will be available online after the event. All the photos will be hand edited and colour corrected as well.
And as a bonus each club will be entilted to one FREE group photograph. More information on this will be made available nearer the time.
This is your opportunity to have a professional photo taken at a very good price and is certainly something you wouldn't want to miss!
2022 SSAGO Awards
The SSAGO Awards are back after a one year break!
For those of you who don't know, SSAGO has two national awards which it hands out annually as a part of Ball.
The Cutlery Cup celebrates the achievements of a SSAGO member who has stood out at either club or national level in SSAGO or through their commitments to Scouting/Guiding.
The Committee Colander is an award to recognise the hard work and dedication that committees have shown as part of SSAGO clubs or local, national or international events.
