What is Oktoberfest?

Oktoberfest is an annual festival traditionally from Munich, Germany, held over a two-week period and ending on the first Sunday in October. The festival originated on October 12, 1810, in celebration of the marriage of the Crown Prince of Bavaria, who later became King Louis I, to Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen. The celebration was so popular it became an annual occurrence and is now celebrated around the globe and now by SSAGO this November! Oktoberfest Rally will be all about German culture and food. Traditional games and crafts will be mixed in with the typical Rally fun to create a truly Bavarian weekend.

When is Oktoberfest?

This year, Oktoberfest was hosted from the 16th September to the 3rd October 2023. We will be hosting our own Oktoberfest Rally on the 24th to the 26th November 2023. It will be held at Blackwell Adventure and more information can be found here!
