In some way shape or form, in 2023, LUSSAGO will have been running for 100 years and CentenaRally is your chance to come and celebrate with us.

Throughout the course of the weekend, we'll explore the best bits of scouting and Guiding from the past 100 years, while exploring and enjoying our incredible city of Liverpool.

As it's our birthday, we'll make sure there's plenty of cake and you'll have a chance to show off your best outfits from the last 100 years at our Decades Disco on the Saturday night.

We're so grateful to be able to share our special day with all of SSAGO, and we just can't wait to welcome you to Liverpool.

Activities

Whilst you're in the UK's greatest city*, there's far more than enough to keep you busy. Our Activities Team are arranging for an incredible showcase of the best Liverpool has to offer over the weekend.

However, you'll only have a chance to scratch the surface of the city, so we hope you'll want to come back and do everything else you don't get the chance to!

Featured Morning / All Day Activity

Long Hike - War Horse Walk (All Day)

In 1914 Liverpool was used to import horses for the war effort. There was no site available in the City so the horses were brought by rail to Ormskirk and walked onto Lathom Park during its use as a Remount Depot. As the war went on it became more mechanised, bringing the end of an era for war horses. Follow the horses along their route and visit some interesting points along the way.

Quirky Quarter

Quirky Quarter is home to a medley of interactive experiences and brain-stimulating workouts, of puzzling challenges and oddball photo opportunities.

This activity is only available at this price for students, so please bring a valid student ID card to ensure you get this price. If you are no longer a student, you may still be able to join this activity at a slightly higher price, please email activities@rally.ssago.org to arrange this.

There is one small section with ambient strobe lighting which can be turned off on request. The entire attraction is on one level. It has a fully accessible WC that contains a changing area and an adult-sized bench. There is adequate space in this WC for a disabled adult and up to two carers. The majority of exhibits can be enjoyed by all, although a few minor exhibits present some height issues. 👣//👨‍🦽// 🔊//👨‍👦‍👦
