"Lapwing is located on the B775 Paisley to Lugton Road.We can be located from Paisley by following signs for Gleniffer Braes or B775 Lugton and are situated approximately 4.5miles from Paisley on top of the Gleniffer Braes. If approaching from the West (Ayrshire) follow the signs for B774 Paisley.

Approaching from the M8 (East or West) join the A737 Irvine road and exit at the Kilbarchan junction, at top of slip road turn left at mini-roundabout, at next mini-roundabout turn right, at next mini-roundabout turn right. Take first left into Auchengreoch Road, follow road into countryside (road narrows) climbing as you go, emerge at Y-junction going right and still climbing. At T-junction (see dam water across field in front of you) turn left, at next T-junction turn right (B775 – Lugton) Lapwing Lodge entrance on right between two white columns."

The car park at Lapwing Lodge has plenty of space for cars and it situated by the main building.

The site can also be easily accessed by taxi from Paisley.

By Train

Paisley Gilmour Street station

We will be running minibus shuttles from Paisley Gilmour Street station which is about 20 minutes by car from the campsite. Trains run every few minutes from Glasgow Central to Paisley. If you arrive at Glasgow Queen Street it is around a 6 minute walk to Central.

By Plane

Glasgow Airport

Glasgow Airport is around 20 minutes by car from the campsite and we will be running minibus shuttles to and from there.
