Fundraising ideas from Scouting
Scout International Hardship Fund
Any member of Scouting (up to 25 yr) can apply if they meet the criteria below:
- Total household income below £23,000 in London and £20,000 outside of London
- In receipt of income support, income based job-seekers, employment or support allowance
- Support under Part VI of Immigration & Asylum Act 1999
- In receipt of child tax credit, working tax credit, universal credit
- In receipt of housing benefit or disability allowance benefit
- Guarantee of state pension credit

There could also be local district of county funds you or your club could apply for so it's worth using local links.
Fundraising ideas from Guiding
Girlguiding International Funds
- Most local divisions and counties could have their own international fund that you could apply for if you have links to local Girlguiding.
- For example, Girlguiding Anglia has forms their members can fill out to apply which can be found on their website
- It is recommenced to apply to these funds at least three months in advance of the trip.
- For any further information contact us on witan@ssago.org or contact your local Girlguiding commissioner.
Disability Aid Trust
- Provides support for the extra costs incurred on holidays abroad due to disability requirements.
- Applicants must be supported by an organisation, doctor or social worker.
