Activities
Here is a selection of activities we recommend doing in London. Most of these won't be a full day of activities but will be a good chance for you all to make friends with other people attending Witan 2024!
You'll be heading out to your activities in the morning and are welcome to stay out in London after and find another thing to do or come back to site. This weekend is all about making friends and will be relaxed on structure and timings.
You'll also be making your own way to and from activities via public transport (probably the London Underground) so please be sure to bring either a contactless payment card, Oyster Card, or a way of buying a ticket at the station.

Day off on site
Stay on site for the day. Take part in a selection of activities. German themed activities, icebreaker style games, etc.

Experience cultures from across the globe, from the dawn of human history to the present.

The Postal Museum
Ride through hidden tunnels and discover a unique piece of industrial heritage, then explore inspiring exhibitions packed with incredible objects, exciting stories and fun-filled interactive displays. If you're lucky enough to be 24 or under, tickets cost £12 on the day. Otherwise for you old people *cough* like Reuben *cough* it's £17

Pax Lodge Challenge
Visit Pax Lodge, the WAGGGS world centre in London, and complete the Pax Lodge Challenge badge. This costs £4pp with is payable to Pax Lodge when you get there. You'll receive a challenge pack and badge on completion.

Pax Lodge London Challenges
Pax Lodge offers several self-guided challenges that take guests around London. You can choose between seeing London’s top attractions on the Monopoly challenge, chasing after the Boy Who Lived on the Harry Potter challenge, travelling through time with our Turn Back Time challenge or more! Each challenge packs costs £4 which can be paid to Pax Lodge when you arrive.

ICANDO London Challenge
ICANDO (Girlguiding HQ) also offer a London based challenge badge. Cost is to be paid on the day to ICANDO. There's not a price online but from memory it's not expensive!
