Why Network Gathering!

The Network Gathering is held annually over the Easter Weekend (7th -10th April 2023). This year we have moved venue and our home of Gathering 2023 is Gladstone Scout Campsite, in North Wales. The Gathering is a 4-day event purely for Network Members. The event is run by West Lancs Scout Network but is open to any Network member across the UK. . The fun begins on Good Friday and doesn’t stop until Easter Monday, we provide some activities but equally we are more than happy to support you in organising your own programme. Then fun continues into the night with DJs, live bands and some fantastic entertainment. Your fee includes three nights camping (Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the gathering. You can also camp on site on the Thursday night for an additional cost, please indicate on your booking if you wish to arrive on Thursday.

How much is Gathering?

The price you pay depends on when you book and pay. i.e. if you book on the 5th November and pay on the 5th November, you will pay the Early Bird price. If you book on the 5th November but don’t pay till 28th February, the you will be charged ‘the disorganised’ price of £48 *Tip of the day* pay when you book on the event.

• Not So Early - £45 Until 22.02.2023
• Final Price - £48 Until 24.03.2023

Friday Night

Welcome to the jungle! They got fun and games! It’s time to show off your network in your finest branded goods, comes on down to the marquee and represents your network/ SSAGO with your pride. A warm welcome is waiting for you by the bar with bar games while you get to know your new campmates with our welcome aboard happy hour! 

Then why not take a trance on me? This is where YOU become the stars of the stage with a brand new evening of ‘cheeky’ fun with our world-renowned stage hypnotist show.  

Saturday Night

It’s time to unleash your inner animal and get ready to be the king of the swingers, with our jungle-themed party. The energetic live band’ The Midnight Cats’ returns to gathering and will put the rumble in the Jungle as they kick start our party on the wild side. It’s time to escape the zoo and populate the jungle, fancy dress is a must. With prizes to get your claws into.   

Sunday Night

We have an absolute banger of a night-to-end Gathering 2023. They are going to pump up the jam with our very own superstar DJ and create an energetic atmosphere with a whole lot of monkeying around! They will have foam canons, so prepare to be blasted with foam as they cover you and the dancefloor.  

The bar is back for 2023, providing a service each night at reasonable prices to buy your bear necessities. 

Note: Own drinks are still allowed in the Marquee.
