National Justice Museum

Spend your afternoon looking around the Galleries of Justice. Based at Nottingham’s historic Shire Hall and County Gaol, you can delve into the fascinating history of justice through time. You will meet historical characters, explore our immense collection, take part in a range of interactive games and activities, and discover how law and justice contribute to all of our lives. They hold the UK's largest collection relating to law, justice, crime and punishment which is made up of over 40 000 objects and archives! End your afternoon with an optional free tour where you'll have the chance to visit the dungeon where folklore suggests Robin was once held and also uncover the origins of Nottingham’s most famous spelling mistake!
